As the fallout from President Biden’s debate performance continues, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) met with House Democrats from competitive districts Tuesday morning ahead of a meeting of the full House Democratic caucus at the Democratic National Committee headquarters. There — without their phones, in an effort to prevent real-time leaks — they will discuss how they feel about Biden remaining the nominee. Senate Democrats are expected to discuss Biden’s future as the party’s nominee at their weekly lunch on Tuesday. Biden, meanwhile, is scheduled to deliver a speech commemorating NATO’s 75th anniversary at the alliance’s summit in Washington Tuesday night.
