Today’s rumors:
- There is no criticism of referee Rod Zapata for the botched kickout in the Money in the Bank World Heavyweight title match, according to WrestlingVotesA WWE source told Votes that “in the past” something like this “absolutely” would have happened.
- No significant injuries occurred during Money in the banksays Fightful Select. The site specifically asked Tanga Loa, Chelsea Green, Zoey Stark and Chad Gable, and was told they were all okay.
- Joe Hendry will be in “a lot” of view in the coming weeks and months as the NXT/TNA crossover continues, according to Fightful Select. WWE officials are looking to capitalize on Hendry’s ability to make even small moments go viral.
- When Fightful asked if WWE would be interested in signing Hendry when his TNA contract expires, the response was, “Who wouldn’t want that?”
- Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio confirmed PWN’s report that WWE is considering introducing women’s versions of the Intercontinental and U.S. Championships, saying the belts would be “one for each brand,” much like the secondary men’s singles titles.
- On her Instagram, Riho talked about the injury she sustained last Saturday Crash was an arm fracture.
