{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Christian McCaffrey, the NFL’s reigning Offensive Player of the Year, recently married former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo.
A fashion influencer criticized the dress Culpo wore on her wedding day, describing her long-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana ball gown as “modest.”
“I’ve been working as a bridal designer for four years now and I’ve never said I don’t like this wedding dress,” influencer Kennedy Bingham, who goes by the moniker Gown Eyed Girl, said in a video posted to social media.

“What a horrible thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world like my beautiful wife does,” he commented on the Instagram reel.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Bingham added that she had no problem with the “simple, elegant” dress, but that she felt the dress “lacked personality.” She captioned the video: “From Miss Universe to Miss Pick Me, Olivia Culpo deserves her crown.”

Culpo later responded in the comments on TikTok, calling Bingham a “bizarre human being.”
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Bingham’s issue with Culpo’s attire appears to stem from a recent statement by the 32-year-old woman that she “didn’t want (the dress) to convey sex in any way.”
Culpo told Vogue in June that she hoped to get married in a dress “that felt as serious as that commitment.”

“What you wear on your wedding day has virtually nothing to do with whether you will have a long and happy marriage,” Bingham argued, adding that she wanted to “promote the idea of what all brides should look like.”

“I also find it weird how much she talks about covering up, especially as someone who’s not modestly dressed in everyday life… I just find the use of the word ‘covered’ so gross, because you’re not covered up in everyday life. And also, why does he think you’re most beautiful when you’re covered up? That’s such a weird thing,” she continued.

{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}McCaffrey and Culpo tied the knot on June 29 in a Rhode Island chapel.
McCaffrey finished the 2023 NFL season with a career-best 1,459 rushing yards, 14 rushing touchdowns and seven receiving touchdowns. His production led to his third Pro Bowl selection.
